NEET 2025 Result: Answer Key, Scorecard, Cutoff & Merit List

The NEET UG examination 2025 result will be announced soon. As per the official schedule of that NTA has released the NEET UG result to be declared by June 14, 2025. Students are advised to be keeping themselves updated with the official announcements to get latest updates.

NEET UG 2025 is an essential examination for students wants to study undergraduate medical courses in India. National Testing Agency or conducts the NEET UG exams in India. NEET UG 2025 exam held on May 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM in various centers in India.

Provisional Answer Key Released

On June 3, 2025, the provisional answer key for NEET UG 2025 is released for by the NTA Students can get the answer key and their scanned response sheets on the official NTA website: https://neet.nta.nic.in

Answer Key Challenge Process

Participants can access the answer key and their scanned response sheets on the official NTA website: neet.nta.nic.in. The provisional answer key can be challenged till June 5, 2025 through the open window. Each challenge charges a nominal fee, and the NTA will review all objections before declaring the final answer key.
This process ensures that the final answer key and subsequent results are accurate and fair. After addressing any objections, the NTA will declare the final answer key and then the NEET UG 2025 results.

Expected Result Declaration Date

The NEET UG 2025 results are expected to be declared on June 14, 2025. Once released, candidates can check their results by following steps:

  • Visit the official website of NTA: nta.ac.in/ and neet.nta.nic.in/
  • Log in in with application number and date of birth on the official NTA website (the same details used during NEET registration)
  • Click on the “Submit” to proceed
  • Next page will be opened where NEET Result will be shown
  • Save and download your NEET Result and scorecard
  • Result will show candidate's NEET scorecard, take a printout which is necessary for the further admission process

  • Candidate’s roll number
  • Application Number
  • Personal details (Name, Parent’s name, Gender, DOB, Nationality and Category and so on)
  • NEET All India Rank
  • NEET qualification
  • Total Marks
  • NEET Cutoff Marks

NEET 2025 Result: How to Calculate the Percentile Marks?

To clear the NEET UG examination, minimum 50% percentile is must. Two ways to calculate the NEET Percentile:

Based on Marks: Score percentile = (NEET Score/Topper’s NEET Score)*100
Based on Rank: Rank Percentile = (Number of Qualifying Candidates-candidate’s personal NEET Rank)/Total Number of Appeared Candidates

Qualifying Criteria

In cases, where two or more participants obtain the same marks, the NTA will apply playoff rules to declare the rank. The criteria include:

  • Higher marks in Biology
  • Higher marks in Chemistry
  • Higher marks in Physics
  • Several wrong answers
  • If the tie remains, a random selection process may be applied.

Exam Pattern and Structure

  • NEET UG 2025: pen-and-paper mode (offline) across many centers in India
  • 180 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology) subjects
  • Total: 720 Marks
  • Duration of the exam: 3 hours,
  • Timings: from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
  • In this year exam a revised exam pattern was implemented, marking a significant update from previous years.

Merit list:
The merit list will be published after result declaration. Candidates are shortlisted depending on their marks and ranks in the exam. Candidates who qualified as per the NEET 2025 cutt-off will be eligible for the next round that is counseling process.

Counseling Process

  • After result declaration, counseling process will declared in July 2025. The counseling process will be organized in two phases:
  • All India Quota Counseling (AIQ): This process is organized by the Medical Counseling Committee for 15% of the total seats in government medical colleges.
  • State Quota Counseling: Each state will conduct state quota counseling to fill the remaining 85% seats.
  • Besides, counseling for deemed and central universities, and also for private medical colleges, will follow individual procedures. Students should regularly check the official websites of
